Hair

Recommended Posts

Hi, I cannot get my hair to distribute evenly.

I have created a lofted object with even spacing -

I then converted to a polygon object and spacing of hair is still not right - even if I filter through the modes, in the hair options?

Do I need to Uv it, or is there something I'm missing..

cheers, do you know how to assign hair to multiple objects in cinema?

ie; one hair system for multiple objects..

If you don't need to use specific polygon selection tags for the hair, just hair all over an object(s), you can place the different objects into a connect object, and use the connect object for the hair system.

connect object puts the multiple meshes( points and polygons) into one mesh object ( virtually).

so basically cinema treats it as a single mesh, so you can apply deformers and stuff to it.

not the most commonly used tool, but in situations like this it comes in handy.
