how to fix wacom issues in windows

Recommended Posts

Disable windows ink in wacome settings, then...

C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015\Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 Settings

In this folder create new text file (notepad) and name it: PSUserConfig.txt

Open this file and paste or write two lines:

# Use WinTab
UseSystemStylus 0

Save the file, and open Photoshop.

Thanks! That is much nicer...like how it's always been on Mac.

Bonus points: Does anyone know where I can find the rubber grips like on the Intous 3 that fit the Intous Art? My biggest complaint is the distance from my normal finger placement to tip is different...

Unfortunately this doesn't work for me. I still only have pen pressure in Photoshop when windows ink is enabled, which really sucks. I have the newest Wacom drivers installed. Funny, cause Adobe is blaming Wacom about this, and Wacom is blaming Adobe. So ridiculous.

and another handy fix!

https://www.gametextures.com/fix-your-wacom-drivers-without-restarting-win/

1. go to services

2. restart TabletServicesWacom

Important Update

If you are using a newer Wacom Tablet, the service you are looking for will be called “Wacom Professional Service” and NOT “TabletServicesWacom” – If you STILL cannot find it, it may be called ”

Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service” So, if you cannot find one, try searching for the other. Thanks to Ricky Curtin for the update!
